Job summary

Prisma Health's Five Forks Internal Medicine in Simpsonville, SC is seeking an LPN to provide routine, standardized nursing care under the supervision of a physician. The role includes assisting with examinations, preparing exam rooms, administering medications per protocol, and documenting vital signs and patient history in the chart.

You will coordinate patient appointments for testing and referrals, maintain stock and equipment, and participate in ongoing compliance training.

Qualifications

• Education - Completion of an LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience - No experience required.
• In lieu of completion of a LPN program, will accept program equivalency recognized by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine, standardized nursing care for patients under the supervision of the physician.
• Assists provider with examinations, procedures and other patient care activities.
• Maintains stock of medical supplies and proper functioning of equipment.
• Documents vital statistics and patient history in the chart; obtains brief medical history and chief complaint.
