Job summary

Sevita’s ResCare Community Living in Noblesville, IN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide nursing services, training, and supports addressing medical or psychiatric needs of individuals with brain injury and developmental disabilities.

You will assess health conditions, administer medications, train staff, and coordinate with medical providers to ensure consistent treatment and quality care in a person-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or related field or state certificate.
• One year of experience working with population served in a nursing capacity.
• Current state LPN or LVN licensure for state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health conditions of individuals served and ensure quality services provided.
• Administer medications and document; oversee and monitor staff administering medications.
• Provide prescribed medical treatment by physician’s orders and personal care services.
• Conduct assessments and implement health care services in each ISP; respond to changes in condition.
• Provide training to staff on topics including infection control and medication administration.
• Liaise with medical and professional service providers; coordinate services with external agencies.
