Job summary

Allergy Partners is seeking a dedicated nurse (RN/LPN/LVN) to join a strong clinical team in Virginia. You will provide nursing care, perform allergy-related tests, administer injections, and document patient status in the medical record. Strong communication with physicians and patients is essential.

The role emphasizes patient safety, education on pharmaceuticals, and adherence to HIPAA/compliance policies in a busy clinic environment.

Qualifications

High School Degree or GED required.
Current, unencumbered nursing license in the employed state or a compact state.
Minimum one year of clinical work experience.
Understanding OSHA guidelines for ambulatory practices.
Experience communicating with physicians.
Ability to document in the electronic Medical Record.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care using the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
Greets patients, prepares them for exam, and takes vital signs.
Assist physician during exams and treatments as requested.
Perform spirometry and other breathing tests as ordered.
Prepare and maintain supplies and sterilize equipment.
Administer allergy injections and monitor for adverse reactions.
Document in patient medical records; coordinate with care team.
Triaged calls using approved protocols and route appropriately.
Follow HIPAA and compliance guidelines; maintain confidentiality.
Attend required trainings and meetings.
