The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care, ongoing education and reinforcement of care plans, and providing general support in an ambulatory setting under the direction and supervision of the patient’s physician or licensed medical practitioner or designee in accordance with policy and procedure and competency to promote patient health and wellness.

This position requires providing services to all age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individuals served.

Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma required. Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program required. Completion of a nursing program as approved by the State Board of Nursing.

Experience

Minimum Of 1year Of Nursing Experience Preferred.

Licensure

Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Commonwealth of Virginia prior to onboarding.

Additional Skills/Requirements Required

• AHA Healthcare Provider BLS required.
• Ability to successfully complete general and department role based specific skills validation and competency testing.

The base compensation for this role is $28.13 hourly. Please note that the pay rate does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.
