Job summary

Redefine Healthcare is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (Behavioral Health) in Union, NJ to join our expanding team. The role includes administering Spravato treatments, patient monitoring, and meticulous documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Minimum 3 years of recent clinical nursing experience; psychiatry/behavioral health strongly preferred.
• Active NJ LPN license and current BLS certification.
• Spravato/ketamine administration experience a big plus.
• Proficient with EMRs; Athena EMR a plus.
• Excellent scribing and documentation skills required.
• Ability to connect with patients.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Receiving Orders from Providers and Enrolling Patients in REMS
• Obtaining Patient Insurance Authorization for Spravato Treatment
• Maintaining Patient Treatment log and Inventory Control Logs
• Patient Monitoring and vital signs assessment during treatment
• All tasks that are part of Spravato Program Protocol
• Performing tasks as needed by prescribing provider and associated practitioners
• Provide patient education regarding Spravato treatment protocols and aftercare
• Meticulous and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with treatment planning and patient support.
• Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned to support behavioral health programs.

• Keen clinical observation, judgment and action
• Spravato/ketamine administration experience a big plus.
• Highly proficient with EMRs; working knowledge of Athena EMR a plus.
• Excellent scribing and documentation skills required
• Ability to connect with patients.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
