Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. Provide nursing care within the LPN scope, administer medications and treatments, document patient information, and coordinate with healthcare providers.

Active LPN license, 1 year facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR are required; PPD within the last year is also needed.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• PPD within the last year is required.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position; no weight restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
