Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced LPNs to join our Per Diem team in Hampton Roads. We offer competitive pay ($37–$39/hour) with same-day or next-day pay and flexible scheduling.

Per diem positions provide full-time hours when available, local staffing coordinators, and weekly pay. This role requires an active LPN license, 1 year of facility experience, and current BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license must be current.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without accommodations; no weight restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
