Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. We offer per diem roles with competitive pay in the Hampton Roads area.

Per Diem LPNs provide nursing care, medications, wound care, and patient education under supervision, with support from local coordinators and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• PPD test within the last year is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.

Requirements
