Job summary

Axis Spine & Pain Center, an affiliate of PartnerCare, in Warner Robins, GA, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. You will provide direct patient care under supervision, take vitals, prepare patients for exams, administer medications, document in the EMR, and support physicians and RNs to maintain safe, compassionate care for patients with chronic or acute pain.

Two years of experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
  • Current, active LPN license in the state of employment.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Experience in pain management, orthopedics, or specialty care preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care appropriate to the patient's age, condition, and treatment plan within scope of LPN licensure.
  • Take and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician and within the LPN scope of practice.
  • Assist physicians and RNs during clinical procedures and examinations.
  • Monitor patient responses to treatment and report changes in condition to the supervising provider.
  • Accurately document patient care, vital signs, medication administration, and clinical observations in the EMR system.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain required clinic logs including medication, safety, and temperature records.
  • Adhere to PartnerCare policies, procedures, and clinical protocols at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, RNs, medical assistants, and administrative staff to support coordinated patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, medications, and post-visit instructions as directed.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient clinic operations.
  • Prepare and maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms and clinical areas.
  • Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe clinical environment.
  • Assist with the proper use, maintenance, and reporting of clinical equipment and supplies.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care and clinical support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, physician, or other licensed provider. This role is integral to the clinical team, assisting with patient assessments, treatment preparation, medication administration, and documentation to ensure a safe, efficient, and compassionate care experience for all patients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Care

Education and Experience:
  • Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program required.
  • Current, active, and unrestricted LPN license in the state of employment required.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Experience in pain management, orthopedics, or specialty care preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
