Job summary

Waterfront is seeking a licensed LPN to join our care team in Wichita. You will work under the Director of Nursing to provide care per care plans, document progress, and support patient education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LPN license in Kansas.
• Provide care per patient care plans and coordinate with physicians.
• Communicate patient progress to patients and families.
• Maintain clinical records and ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Provide a provision of care to patients in accordance with their care plans. May require conferences with physician, patient, family members and other staff involved with patient’s care.
• Communicate with patient and family regarding education and progress of patient.
• Review and maintain all clinical records, which are required for patient’s care and progress.
• Review weekly reports to monitor personal and staff compliance to all Kansas and Federal requirements including blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety
