Job description

We are seeking an experienced, quick-thinking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the healthcare team. This is a high-intensity, fast-paced clinical environment where strong medication administration skills and the ability to perform under pressure are absolutely essential. What You'll Do
  • Administer a high volume of medications daily with precision, accuracy, and strict adherence to protocols
  • Conduct medication passes efficiently across the facility while maintaining full compliance with safety standards
  • Monitor inmates/patients for medication reactions, side effects, and changes in condition
  • Document medication administration accurately and thoroughly in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
  • Perform nursing assessments and assist with sick call evaluations
  • Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and mental health staff to support comprehensive patient care
  • Respond quickly and calmly to medical emergencies and urgent situations
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries in a correctional setting

Shifts: Monday - Friday 3p-11p or 11p-7:30a (must be able to work rotating weekends; full time, weekends only or three days per week schedule available)
