Job description

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is now available through Adecco Healthcare and Life Science. In this position, you will support patient care, procedural workflows, and perioperative activities within a physician-led plastic surgery practice. This role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality care while developing clinical skills in areas such as sterile technique, procedural assistance, recovery care, and overall clinic operations.

LPNs progress in scope and responsibility based on experience and performance, with opportunities to take on advanced procedural support, cross-coverage, and mentorship responsibilities.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Shift: M, W, F from 8 - 4:30 and T, TH from 7:30 - 4:30 with a 30-minute lunch

Salary: $27.00-35.00/hr. – depending on your level of experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support patient care including intake, vital signs, documentation, and post-procedure care
• Assist with procedures, including sterile setup, instrument handling, and recovery support
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and exam room readiness
• Monitor patients and communicate changes or concerns to clinical staff
• Educate patients on procedures, recovery, and care instructions
• Coordinate pre- and post-operative workflows and documentation
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulations

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (Pennsylvania)
• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• BLS Certification
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Prior clinical experience required based on level
