Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a licensed practical nurse to support patient care across facilities in Pennsylvania. The position runs 7a-3p with every other weekend required, providing critical nursing tasks under RN supervision.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, tally vitals, document progress and ensure safe medication administration; active PA LPN license and CPR are required, along with knowledge of healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with an active LPN license in PA.
• CPR certification and knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.
• Strong clinical proficiency, critical thinking, communication, and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in facilities under RN supervision.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, CNAs and aides to provide care.
• Take vitals, assess, document progress and report changes to RN.
• Assist RN with physician orders, patient care and treatments.
• Administer medications and operate medical equipment safely.

Job Responsibilities

• Care for patients with a variety of illnesses, injuries and diseases in facilities such as medical offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and schools – under the supervision of an RN.
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, CNAs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Take patient vitals, do assessments, document progress and report changes to RN Supervisor.
• Assist RN in carrying out physician's orders, patient care and prescribed treatments.
• Administer medication, operate medical equipment and maintain a safe environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN License in PA.
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of any state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Demonstrates clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communication, and compassionate.
