Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities with locations in Mansfield, OH is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide quality nursing care within Primrose policies and state regulations, ensuring residents’ needs are met for physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

The Staff Nurse will follow physician orders, work in a collaborative, person-centered environment, and support residents’ overall quality of life. Strong teamwork and computer literacy are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current, active nursing license in the state the community is located in.
• CPR and First Aid Certification in accordance with state regulations.
• Annual continuing education hours required for nursing license.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Knowledge of state laws and regulations for nursing in assisted living settings.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and related memory impairments.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of computer software and programs.
• Able to work weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care according to physician orders and Primrose policies.
• Ensure residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being per standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver person-centered care and smooth daily operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and be available for shifts including days, evenings, and nights.

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse to be responsible forproviding quality nursing care within Primrose Retirement Communities, ensuring that residents’ needs are met in accordance with standards of practice through physician orders, Primrose policies and procedures, federal, state, and local regulations, and established nursing best practices. Through a collaborative and “person-centered” approach, the Staff Nurse enables each resident to attain or maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

What we're looking for:

• Current, active nursing license in the state the community is located in.
