Job summary

Lakeview Village, Inc. in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our not-for-profit continuing care retirement community. The LPN will support resident-centered care, perform assessments, and follow physician plans of treatment to promote well-being.

Position is full-time with some weekend coverage. Starting pay is $27.30 per hour, with benefits including retirement match, education assistance, a fitness center, pool, paid time off, and comprehensive health

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in KS
• BLS certification required
• IV certification preferred
• Able to work in a team with residents, relatives and staff

Lakeview Village in Lenexa, Kansas is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community that offers sub-acute rehabilitation and long-term care, celebrating its 60th anniversary and 5th straight year as the U.S News & World Report Best Short Stay Rehab.

• The primary role of the Licensed Practical Nurse at Lakeview Village is to promote the residents' well-being and satisfaction by supporting resident-centered care. The LPN performs nursing assessments, follows the plan of care in accordance with physician's plan of treatment, provides nursing services in accordance with current nursing practice, and evaluates resident’s response to treatment.

Job Type: Full Time, PRN

Shift:

• Monday-Friday every other Weekend 2pm-10:30pm

Pay: starting at $27.30/hour, commensurate with experience

Qualifications

Ideal Candidates will have the following qualifications and skills:

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the KS State Board of Nursing.
• Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• IV certification preferred.
