Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Des Moines is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our compassionate team on-site in Des Moines. You will monitor patients, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians to ensure individualized care plans.

The role features three 12-hour shifts weekly and a $5,000 sign-on bonus in addition to hourly pay of $34. We welcome both experienced nurses and new grads who share our commitment to excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• LVN license is required.
• New grads welcome; prior experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Salary: $34 hourly +$5,000 sign on bonus

Schedule: Three 12 hours shift weekly

Duties:

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.
• Provide nursing care in a caring and compassionate manner.
• Collaborate with physicians and other nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts.
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.

Qualifications:

• LVN License is required.
• Prior experience preferred but new grads are welcomed!
