Responsibilities

• Provide services within the scope of practice as defined by state nursing laws, following the plan of care and coordinating with the health care team; may not alter the plan of care.
• Instruct patients’ families in caring for the patient and maintaining a healthy environment.
• Observe, record, and report the patient’s response to treatment and any changes in condition daily to the supervising nurse and/or physician.

Education And Experience

License Requirements

• Current LPN licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
• CPR certification required.
