Tulane University is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support the Occupational Health clinic. You will provide patient care under supervision of the OH Nurse Specialists, perform health screenings, counseling, and maintain medical records.
The position requires LA licensure, an accredited nursing program, and two years of clinic experience; CPR/BLS is preferred. Strong communication and ability to follow written and oral instructions are essential.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery and management of patient care within the scope of practice. This position functions as part of the Occupational Health (OH) clinic and receives guidance and technical supervision from the Occupational Health Nurse Specialists. (OHNS). The LPN participates in the provision of health care, screening examinations, health counseling, medical record maintenance and other related services within the OH clinic.
