Job summary

Sunrise Community, Inc. in Clarksville, TN is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide medical services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The role supports optimal health and wellbeing, performing essential tasks, monitoring vitals, and maintaining documentation. You will work with Direct Support Professionals to meet residents’ needs, communicate health changes to the supervisor, and handle supply organization.

Qualifications

• Must possess current and valid license for Practical Nurse.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License with endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing basic healthcare services according to the individual’s plan.
• Performs tasks such as blood pressure monitoring, weights, and other assigned tasks.
• Ensures accurate and complete documentation according to regulations.
• Responsible for organization and cleanliness of supplies and equipment and restocking as needed.
• Collaborates with Direct Support Professionals to meet individuals' needs.
• Communicates changes in medical or behavioral status to supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
