Location & Schedule

Student Health Center, Student Affairs Division, Counseling & Health Services (Administration)

Hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday.

Compensation

Salary Range: $38,516 – $52,960 (anticipated hiring range $38,516 – $48,145). Rank: MH07.

Primary Purpose of Position

Works as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the medical clinic at the Student Health Center. Screens patients and obtains pertinent medical data, collects vital signs and specimens, administers medications and vaccines, assists healthcare providers with procedures as needed, prepares and cleans the examining area, monitors the flow of patients, follows up on missed appointments, carries out physician orders, and provides patient education and counseling.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience using electronic medical records.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
• Experience providing nursing care to a college‑aged population.

Licensing & Certifications

Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
