Job description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) under the supervision of a doctor and/or nurse practitioner, and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, coordinates target population access to healthcare, health education and preventive services. This position would be supporting a Pediatrics clinic located in Chamblee, GA. The hours are 8:00 am -5:00 pm. No weekends or holidays.

Duties

• Performs basic patient assessment procedures such as vitals signs, infectious disease control, and universal precautions.
• Maintains and orders medical supplies and materials.
• Performs EKGs with the guidance of a medical provider.
• Provides light administrative duties such as typing, filing, answering phones, etc.
• Participates in health fairs and community events.

Requirements

• Current Georgia or compact License Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• BCLS
• Bilingual is a plus.
