Job summary

HealthCARE Express in Bryant, Arkansas is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our urgent care team on a part-time/PRN basis. Pay is $26 per hour, and you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, perform essential nursing tasks, and support providers throughout the day.

The ideal candidate is patient-focused, can multitask, maintain HIPAA standards, and be proficient with electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Arkansas.
• Urgent care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and prepare patients for examinations.

What You'll Do

As an LPN, you'll work alongside providers to deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced urgent care environment. You'll obtain vital signs, prepare patients for examinations and treatments, perform EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection, and routine lab testing, administer medications and injections within your scope of practice, start IVs, assist with wound care and minor procedures, administer TB skin tests, maintain accurate documentation, and support providers throughout the day. You'll also help create an exceptional patient experience while working closely with your teammates to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Position Details

• Schedule: Part-Time/PRN, 12-hour shifts, including some Saturdays.
• Pay: $26/hour.
• Training: All newly hired team members may be required to attend a four-day training session in Texarkana, Texas, as part of the onboarding process.
