Job summary

Cambridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Boston is seeking registered nurses. New grads are welcome to apply. The position is full-time with day, evening, and weekend shifts.

The starting rate is $38 per hour, up to $42 per hour, with a potential salary adjustment based on years of experience. You will provide safe resident care, administer medications, and perform treatments according to established standards while communicating care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe resident care, demonstrating knowledge and competency in completing assigned treatments and procedures according to established standards and policies.
• Maintains awareness of new updates standards and incorporates them into nursing practice.
• Accurately completes routine tasks without the need of supervision.
• Communicates pertinent resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfer, and at shift report.
• Administers medications according to the five rights of medication administration and documentation of same.
• Performs treatments utilizing sterile or clean technique.
• Administers external feedings.
• Demonstrates the mission, vision, and values of Cambridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center through professional excellence.
• Completes resident care-related activities within scheduled shift time periods.
• Exercises calm behavior and uses professional judgment during emergencies.
• Cooperates with reassignments made in the interest of resident care.
• Reports and delegates resident care problems and possible solutions to management.

• Delegates resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.
