Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital – North Mississippi in Batesville, MS is seeking Full Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for Night Shifts. The nurse will provide direct and indirect patient care, under RN supervision, following hospital policies and regulatory requirements to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Shift differentials are paid for all Night and Weekend Shifts, offering an opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-centered team in a busy acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in Mississippi.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Minimum of six months to one year’s work experience.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care meeting care standards.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition or treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties with supervision.
• Night shift differential applies.

Position Overview

AMG Specialty Hospital – North Mississippi is seeking Full Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for Night Shifts. This LPN will provide direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Maintain regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards. Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
