Job summary

The State of Iowa is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Anamosa State Penitentiary team. In this role you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating health care for incarcerated individuals.

You will follow nursing procedures, conduct physical examinations, provide CPR and first aid, and complete required documentation to support safe and effective inmate care.

Qualifications

• Maintains proficiency in nursing procedures and clinical skills.
• Documents care and interventions accurately.
• Demonstrates ability to plan, implement and evaluate health care for inmates.
• Performs CPR and first aid per protocol.
• Adheres to licensure requirements and facility policies.
