Job summary

Genesis is recruiting qualified Licensed Practical Nurses for the Rehabilitation Center of Albuquerque. Out-of-state applicants are welcome, with both Night and Day shifts available. Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN roles are offered, featuring a $5,000 sign-on bonus (full-time only) and a $4.00/hour weekend differential.

Additional incentives include attendance and performance bonuses and a fall relocation opportunity. New grads are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification as required by state practice.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
