Under supervision, you will read plans, select materials, and work with campus facilities staff and outside contractors to ensure safe, reliable utility services. NH Driver's License and Journeyman/Master Plumber Licenses are required; the university offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NH Driver's License required.
• NH Journeyman/Master Plumber License required.
• Experience with pipefitting, soldering and brazing.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand drawings.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain heating, plumbing, steam, water and drainage systems.
• Repair, install and replace plumbing fixtures such as sinks, water closets, showers, heaters, hot water tanks.
• Repair and maintain dining hall equipment including dishwashers and steam kettles.
• Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings and pipes.
• Correct openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings.
• Coordinate with outside contractors as necessary.
• Work with Plymouth Village Water & Sewer District and campus staff to obtain parts.
• Help Physical Plant provide the best service to customers.
