Job summary

Janco, Inc. in Rollinsford, NH is seeking a skilled plumber to install, repair and maintain plumbing and heating systems and fixtures.

You will interpret blueprints, perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and work with various piping materials under the supervision of a Master Plumber. Candidates should have NH Master or Journeyman Plumber license, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs; strong math, blueprint reading, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have plumbing experience in mechanical/HVAC.
• Knowledgeable of plumbing techniques, supplies, and tools.

• Read blueprints and piping diagrams.
• Ability to well and solder pipes for repairs or installations.
• Mechanical knowledge and basic contracting skills.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Good work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to lift 50lbs, climb, crawl, and work with heights.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Master Plumber.
• Communicate and work with Master Plumber to identify the best solutions and progress on jobs/tasks.
• Install, repair and maintain plumbing & heating systems and fixtures.
• Perform routine inspections, diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and units.
• Interpret blueprints and building specifications required for each job site.
• Utilize and work with copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping.
• Keep detailed reports of work done and manage work log.
• Keep up to date with applicable current safety regulations and requirements.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
