Job summary

Janco, Inc. in Rollinsford, NH seeks a full-time plumber assistant to install, repair and maintain plumbing and heating systems. You will read blueprints, handle diverse piping materials, and troubleshoot issues on job sites.

Qualifications

• Plumbing experience in mechanical/HVAC.
• Knowledgeable of plumbing techniques, supplies, and tools.

• Ability to solder pipes for repairs or installations.
• Mechanical knowledge and basic contracting skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.

• Detail oriented, organized, and punctual.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Good work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to lift 50lbs, climb, crawl, and work with heights.
• Must be able to walk or stand for extensive periods.

• Reports directly to the Master Plumber.
• Communicate and work with Master Plumber to identify the best solutions and progress on jobs/tasks.
• Install, repair and maintain plumbing & heating systems and fixtures.
• Perform routine inspections, diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and units.
• Interpret blueprints and building specifications required for each job site.
• Utilize and work with copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping.
• Keep detailed reports of work done and manage work log.
• Keep up to date with applicable current safety regulations and requirements.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Master or Journeyman Plumbers License NH

NH Gasfitter’s License preferred

Valid Driver’s License

Maintain required licenses
