Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
  • Diagnose plumbing issues using specialized tools and equipment, and provide effective solutions to resolve problems.
  • Ensure all plumbing work complies with local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals to coordinate plumbing installations and repairs.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid plumbing failures and extend system lifespan.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
  • Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls and provide timely repairs to minimize disruption.

About the Role:

As a Licensed Plumber, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will directly impact the health, safety, and comfort of building occupants by guaranteeing reliable water supply, drainage, and waste management systems. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, diagnosing plumbing issues, and implementing effective solutions that comply with local codes and regulations. This role demands a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget. Ultimately, your work will contribute to the structural integrity and operational functionality of various properties throughout the United States.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid plumbing license issued by the relevant state authority within the United States.
  • Hold and maintain a valid Oklahoma Journeyman or Contractor Plumbing License issued by the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board (CIB).

Complete and maintain required continuing education (CE) credits, andmeet the hospital’s licensing requirements.

  • Completion of an accredited plumbing apprenticeship or equivalent training program.
  • Proven experience working as a plumber in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in specialized plumbing areas such as medical gas systems, backflow prevention, or green plumbing technologies.
  • Experience with advanced plumbing systems including hydronic heating, solar water heating, or water treatment systems.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or plumbing design software.
  • Additional certifications in safety training such as OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.
