Job summary

Kimbel Mechanical Systems, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Plumber to install, inspect, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures across water, gas, and drainage systems. The role involves leading crews and apprentices, reading blueprints, and ensuring work meets building codes.

Work is performed with minimal supervision as part of a team. The ideal candidate holds an Oklahoma Journeyman license, has 4+ years of plumbing experience, and can pass a DOT physical and drug screen.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of plumbing experience.
• Active Oklahoma Journeyman Plumbing license from a State Board of Plumbing.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Must pass both a DOT Physical and Drug Screen.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Have a collaborator attitude.

Licensed Plumber

Purpose: The purpose of a Licensed Plumber is to install, inspect, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures in water, gas, and drainage systems according to specifications and building codes, working with little to no supervision with a team of apprentices.

• Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects, typically up to 50–75 lbs independently

• Mobility and Agility: Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces (like crawlspaces or attics), and kneeling or crouching for extended periods

• Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small tools and components with precision

• Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8–12 hour shift, often in varying weather conditions or non-climate-controlled environments
