Job summary

Memorial Health System in Marietta, OH seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our allied health team on a flex-time schedule. The PTA will implement treatment plans, educate patients, and document care according to policy.

The role collaborates with providers, supports safe transfers, and maintains ACHC-compliant documentation. Eligible candidates hold Ohio licensure, BLS, and complete required certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Licensed in Ohio or WV with PTA privileges.
• BLS certification required.
• Maintain compliance in RQI.

Responsibilities

• Applies treatment modalities and techniques in a safe and effective manner according to the established plan of care and policies.
• Demonstrates effective teaching skills.
• Completes documentation in a thorough and professional manner and in compliance with ACHC standards.
• Collaborates with other providers to facilitate the optimal outcome for each patient.
• Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
