Qualifications

• Education and Formal Training: Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an APTA accredited institution; current North Carolina license to practice physical therapy.
• Work Experience: New graduates and experienced clinicians considered.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Ability to apply knowledge and skills, solve problems, work in a team, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes, selects, and utilizes effective communication based on patient age.
• Develops and modifies goals and treatment plans with the physical therapist.
• Delivers various therapeutic interventions accurately and effectively.
• Delegates and monitors care to PT personnel.
• Coordinates delivery of physical therapy services.
• Documents services clearly and concisely for billing and productivity.
• Maintains appropriate use of resources including equipment and supplies.
• Access to medications within scope of practice as authorized.
• Other duties as assigned.
