Job summary

Luxor Healthcare is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our clinical team in Saint Peters, Missouri. The role involves providing patient care, performing assessments, and following physician orders and established treatment plans.

You will collaborate with the evaluating therapist, track patient progress, and participate in discharge planning while educating patients and families as needed. Excellent communication and clinical skills are required to deliver high-quality therapy

Qualifications

• Must have an active Physical Therapist license to practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assessments per standards and facility policies.
• Deliver care per physician orders and developed treatment plans.
• Measure patient status to assess therapy effectiveness within licensure limits.
• Maintain communication with evaluating therapist to optimize benefits and summarize progress.
• Implement patient education per evaluating therapist and determine additional needs with family or caregiver.
• Assist in discharge planning and reassessment with the therapy team.
• Collaborate with patient, family, caregivers and healthcare team to maximize care outcomes.
• Demonstrate clinical techniques and use appropriate modalities and equipment.
