VHS Rehabilitation in Virginia is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team. This role offers full-time, part-time, or per diem opportunities across Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, Yorktown, Gloucester and Kilmarnock, with daily pay and weekend incentives.

As a Licensed Physical Therapist, you will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, provide skilled therapy to improve mobility and function, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current, active and unencumbered Virginia PT license.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and resident goals.
• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and overall quality of life.
• Monitor resident progress, modify treatment plans as appropriate, and accurately document all evaluations, treatments, and outcomes.
• Communicate resident progress, needs, and recommendations with residents, families, physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in care planning meetings, facility committees, and community education initiatives as appropriate.
• Maintain professional standards of practice while protecting resident rights and confidentiality.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain clinical competency and stay current with best practices.
