Select Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient orthopedic team in Port St. Lucie, FL. Schedule is Monday–Friday with TBD hours, and compensation ranges from $25.00 to $35.00 per hour.

This role emphasizes patient care under a licensed PT and collaboration with centers to support patient recovery. We offer a flexible PRN arrangement, outpatient settings, and benefits as part of the team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed the CAPTE national examination for PTAs.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process) and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high-quality PT services with minimal supervision.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
