Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Fairfield, IL is seeking a part-time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) to provide outpatient therapy services to adult residents in an assisted living facility. You will contribute to treatment plans and deliver hands-on care in a clinic setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree in PTA and valid state licensure or eligibility, with strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with therapists and staff to achieve positive outcomes.

• Valid state licensure as PTA or licensure eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic abilities with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.

HealthPro Heritage has a Part-timeLicensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) Opportunity in Fairfield, IL. As a PTA in this role, you will provide outpatient therapy services to adult residents of an assisted living facility. While patients live within the community, therapy is delivered in an onsite outpatient clinic setting.

• Wage Range: $35-$40 per hour (based on experience)
• Float to an ALF in Flora
• Consistent Hours: 10-20 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists. Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Treatment and Education: Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
• Documentation: Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
