Job summary
Life Care Centers of America in Coos Bay, OR is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our collaborative post-acute care team. You will implement treatment plans, document progress, and work with a multidisciplinary staff to help patients regain function and independence.
New grads welcome; CPR certification required or obtained on orientation. Prior experience in a rehab setting is preferred; strong communication and patient-centered care are essential.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT).
- Active state licensure in good standing; licensure must be maintained throughout employment.
- One year of experience preferred; new grads welcome.
- CPR certification on hire or during orientation; must remain current during employment.
Responsibilities
- Follow PT treatment plans under supervision of the supervising PT.
- Chart patient progress timely and accurately.
- Utilize therapy software appropriately.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients.
- Demonstrate good body mechanics and safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team; coordinate with staff and families.
- Read, write, and speak English.
