Encore Rehabilitation Services is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support a licensed physical therapist in providing patient care. The PTA performs treatments, contributes to the plan of care, and helps supervise rehab technicians and students as assigned.
The role requires graduation from an accredited PTA program and licensure by the state board. Experience is not required, and the PTA will work under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist to ensure quality
The assistant is a skilled, technical worker who performs physical therapy treatments and related duties as assigned by the therapist.
Stands, turns, bends, stoops, lifts, climbs, and uses a great majority of physical motion in performing day to day activities of work. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and do a great deal of walking without experiencing extreme fatigue. Lifting and carrying equipment supplies, and materials up to50lbs. without help; over50lbs. with the help of mechanical devices or other personnel. Operation of electrical equipment.
