Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician credentials required/preferred.
• Accurate medication and generic knowledge emphasized.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift light weights.

Responsibilities

• Perform pharmacy technician duties as assigned by the manager or licensed pharmacist.
• Pull, pack and label medications according to labels and standards of pharmacy practice.
• Prepare medication for shipment.
• Take ongoing inventory, check in Drags and supplies and stock shelves.
• Check and remove outdated medications on a routine basis and keep records.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by following procedures and regulations.
• Keep up with policy changes by attending drug in-services.
• Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas.
• Perform other duties as requested.
