Job summary

King Soopers, a Kroger family company, seeks a licensed pharmacist to join our Colorado pharmacy team. You will counsel patients, fill Rx orders, manage inventories, and promote immunizations while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Travel to multiple locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Possess a current Pharmacist license in the state where employment is sought.
• Graduate of a US School of Pharmacy or have passed a foreign equivalency exam
• Successfully passed the NAPLEX exam
• Ability to work at various locations
• Ability to travel independently

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates
• Answer questions regarding products and assist customers in the department and store
• Communicate effectively with customers and store personnel
• Provide drug counseling with customers and prescribers
• Process RX orders accurately and in compliance with laws
• Maintain accurate records including insurance and RX delivery
• Maintain inventory and control substances per regulations
• Promote immunizations to patients and perform related clinical activities
• Delegate monitoring and ordering of supplies to ensure smooth operation
• Oversee department when the manager is absent
