Job summary

Aptive Environmental seeks a full-time Licensed Pest Control Technician to cover routes around Wilmington, NC. You will report weekly to the Wilmington office, driving a company vehicle and applying pest solutions while maintaining records and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed pesticide applicator with active state certification.
• Clean driving record and valid US driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route solving customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate treatment records and follow safety laws.
• Apply pesticides and advise customers on best solutions.
• Manage inventory of pesticides and service all routes as assigned.
• Work every other Saturday as part of the schedule.

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Licensed Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Wilmington, NC . This position will report to our office in Wilmington, NC, once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level.

$17.00 - $21.00 an hour

Responsibilities include:

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday

Qualifications:

• A US driver's license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires
• Must hold a current commercial pesticide applicator license or certification for general pest control in the state where the work will be performed.
