Job summary

Mosquito Joe is seeking a Mosquito Control Technician to work outdoors in the Manchester, NH area. You will drive a company vehicle, learn our proven process, and help customers reclaim their outdoor spaces from mosquitoes and other pests.

No experience is required as we provide training and licensing support. A $250 signing bonus is available after licensing, with a $500 bonus for those who already hold a pesticide applicator license, paid after 30 days of employment.

• You must be able to walk with a 65 lb. backpack for a lengthy period of time.
• You must wear protective gear and a uniform.
• You must be able to handle the summer heat.

Responsibilities

• Conquering Mosquitoes – Wage war on mosquitoes and other pests to keep outdoor spaces enjoyable for customers.
• Doing It with Style – Represent the Mosquito Joe brand with professionalism and a top-notch customer service experience.
• Communicating with the Local Office – Stay in close contact with the office to ensure supplies and know which property to treat.

This role is based out of our Manchester, NH office. You must be able to report to this location to start and end your workday.

To Succeed in this Role as a Mosquito Control Technician…

• Always bring your A-game. Remember, you are always on a public stage. You might think no one is home or watching, but you might impress someone with your pest control professionalism!
• Take the training seriously. You will learn the proper guidelines for using the products, and we will even help you get licensed where required.
• Stay on schedule. We will give you the schedule and timing for the day (usually around 15 appointments).
• Do it right the first time. You do not want the customer to call you back out to do it over.
• Leave the whining at home. This role can be physically demanding, especially in hot weather, and requires a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Think observantly and creatively when assessing each unique property. Every property is different, with different problems to solve.

Job Requirements…

• You must be able to walk with a 65 lb. backpack for a lengthy period of time. (This will be your cardio workout. You can cancel your gym membership)
• You must wear protective gear and a uniform. (You will be protecting yourself while looking good in uniform)
• You must be able to handle the summer heat. (It is like being paid to go to the sauna.)

Benefits & Pay…

The pay range for this position is $24 to $28 per hour including performance bonuses and depends on whether you have prior experience & licensed in this or other similar mosquito or pest control positions.
