The role focuses on personal and commercial lines, with opportunities to grow a book of business through proactive service and cross-selling. You will generate new business, conduct insurance reviews, and quote with top carriers while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan P&C license required.
• Proven experience in insurance sales or a related financial services role.
• Strong knowledge of personal and/or commercial lines insurance products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with agency management software and CRM tools is a plus.
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through referrals, networking, community involvement, and inbound agency leads.
• Build strong client relationships by conducting comprehensive insurance reviews.
• Quote, bind, and service personal lines policies with multiple top-rated insurance carriers.
• Manage and grow an existing book of business through proactive account reviews, renewals, and exceptional customer service.
• Cross-sell and round out accounts by identifying additional coverage opportunities.
• Respond promptly to client quotes, inquiries, policy changes, claims assistance, and coverage questions.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve policy inquiries in a timely manner.
