Job summary

Signet Health is actively seeking an experienced, licensed therapist to join the hospital-embedded outpatient behavioral health program at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience working with adult patients and offers a stable, weekdays schedule in a high-quality inpatient-outpatient setting.

The position is a W-2 role with Monday-Friday daytime hours, no nights or weekends, and strong institutional support.

Qualifications

• Masters degree from an accredited program.
• Three years of clinical experience with adult patients.
• Active licensure (LICSW/LCSW/LCPC/LPC) in any US state with ability to obtain DC licensure.
• Employer supports DC licensure and reimbursement of licensure fees.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient individual psychotherapy and treatment planning.
• Conduct clinical intake assessments.
• Provide cross-coverage support across PHP, IOP, addiction services, and group therapy.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Ensure all services meet accreditation standards (DBH and Joint Commission).

Requirements/Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient individual psychotherapy and treatment planning using a structured, time-limited approach.
• Conduct clinical intake assessments.
• Provide cross-coverage support as needed across various care levels, including Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), addiction services, and group therapy.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Ensure all services meet Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) and Joint Commission accreditation standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
• Experience: Three (3) years of clinical experience working with adult patients.
