Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate with supervising physical therapist, patients, physicians and staff.
  • Ability to delegate appropriate treatment activities to supportive personnel.
  • Knowledge of therapy equipment and documentation in EMR.

Responsibilities

  • Direct patient care.
  • Day-to-day patient scheduling.
  • Supervision of occupational therapy assistant students.
  • Consultation with physicians and other team members.
  • Documentation in the EMR.
  • Quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI).
  • Clinical education.
  • Guest relations.
  • Billing for patient services rendered and other duties as assigned.
