National Vision is seeking a Licensed Optician to provide customer-facing service in our Kissimmee eyewear store. You will conduct eyewear consultations, fittings, finishing, and pickup, supporting optometrists and upholding Eyeglass World standards.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish, has an active dispensing license, 1+ year in optical or retail, and strong communication skills to educate customers and deliver a polished, brand-aligned experience.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Licensed Optician to provide customer-facing service in our store, including eyewear consultation, fitting, finishing, and pickup. The role supports optometrists and ensures high-quality standards.

Essential Functions

Create an Exceptional Customer Experience

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience.

Support Clinical & In Store Flow

• Assist with patient flow and pre‑exam screenings to support optometrists.
• Help ensure smooth transitions between exam, finish, and pickup moments.
• Serve as a calm, knowledgeable presence throughout the customer journey.

Own Finish & Quality Excellence

• Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections, and quality checks.
• Ensure all eyewear meets Eyeglass World standards for fit, function, and presentation.
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished, brand‑aligned handoff.

Operate with Precision & Care

• Support order entry, tracking, and timely completion.
• Maintain organized, clean, and efficient finish and retail areas.
• Identify and resolve quality or service issues proactively.

Bring the Brand to Life

• Model Eyeglass World service standards, tone, and behaviors in every interaction.
• Uphold visual, experiential, and operational brand standards in the store.
• Partner with the store team to deliver a consistent and elevated experience.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Work Experience

• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service (Required)
