America’s Best in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking an Optician to dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses, provide lens insertion/removal training, and educate customers to help them see better.

You will deliver great service, support store performance, maintain accurate patient records, manage orders, and keep the shop organized while adhering to safety standards. Sundays off and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license as required by the state.
• 3+ years related experience or training (required).
• Previous retail experience (preferred).
• Strong customer service and clear communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, including training.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals and company objectives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage order follow-up, including notifications.
• Support quality and operational excellence by reducing remakes and following safety standards.
• Maintain inventory control, merchandising standards, and a clean, organized work environment.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
