Job summary

Eyemart Express is seeking a Licensed Optician for a full-time role in Spokane, WA. You will guide patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses and coatings, ensure accurate measurements, and coordinate with our lab team to produce quality eyewear.

In this role you’ll provide personalized service, process payments, educate patients on eyewear care, and maintain confidential patient files. The position offers base pay of $28–$35 per hour with incentives and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Optical industry experience and current state License.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Process payments and refunds using POS.
• Take measurements, interpret prescription requirements, and coordinate with lab technicians.
• Educate patients on eyewear care and lens coatings.
• Process insurance claims and maintain patient files with confidentiality.
• Inspect final products for accuracy and ensure proper adjustments.
• Price, stock, and organize merchandise; assist with frame repairs as needed.

As a Licensed Optician, you'll guide patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings tailored to their needs. You'll ensure accurate measurements and prescription information for our lab technicians, oversee the production process, and provide personalized care when dispensing glasses to patients.

Earning Potential: The earning potential for this role is competitive, inclusive of base pay ($28.00 - $35.00) and incentives.
