Job summary

Target Optical, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Optician in the Fairfax area to deliver the Target Optical guest experience and accurate eyewear dispensing. The role focuses on achieving daily sales goals while maintaining a stylish, guest-first shopping journey.

You will work with the Target Optical doctor and Host teams, follow store policies, and perform precise transactions. A high school diploma and state licensing are required, with 1+ year retail or guest-service

General Function

The Licensed Optician ensures the delivery of the Target Optical Way and the Guest Experience by embracing the Mindsets: People Focused, Collaborative, Accountable to Results, Think Differently and Simple, Fun and In Style.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivers the daily sales goal by flawless execution of the Guest Experience behaviors.
• Ensures a simple, fun, in-style fashion experience through the Playground Rules.
• Builds Brand awareness by attracting new Guests from the Host to Optical.
• Develops and maintains a professional business partnership with the Target Optical doctor and Target Host.
• Models the Target Optical Personal Style Dress Code.
• Creates an amazing Guest experience by accurately fitting and dispensing fashionable products.
• Follows operating policies and procedures, including training, timely implementation of marketing/merchandising programs, accurate sales transactions, and use of sales strategies and resources.
• Ensures accuracy in all transactions and interactions with Guests.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $25.02 – $39.02

This posting is for an existing vacancy. Employee pay is determined by factors including geography, experience, qualifications, and local minimum wage requirements.
